hi there everybody
Ive just recently bought a 1996 e320 Elegance,which i will post pictures of soon. This is my first Mercedes and i'm loving it!!!
Its done 139000km with full service history and everything seems shipshape,besides a couple of minor stonechips and some wear to the leather on center console.
Ive gathered a little info on this particular model before i purchased it but if anyone has anything to add or owns a similar car and can give me a heads up on any problems i can expect, it would be great to hear from you.
I'm currently living in far north queensland and feel a mile away from the action, especially when it comes to finding spare parts and a good mechanic,so any help in that regard would also be greatly appreciated.

Very good cars mate the 210 series and that E320 endine is super smooth congrats on your purchase and welcome to the forum. The 320 engine was known for headgasket failure if quality coolant wasn't maintained, so keep your eye on that. The five speed auto needs oil change every 60,000km under normal operating conditions. Other than that worn balljoint and control arm bushes are common but easwily replaced.
