Here's one for the family!

We are off for a lazy drive to the beautiful south coast, taking in the scenic Royal National Park and the sea cliff bridge along the way.

A stop at Stanwell Tops is planned, to take in the stunning views whilst having some refreshment, then on to our lunch destination, Flagstaff Hill, with plenty of cafes and restaurants to choose from, or bring your own picnic lunch or portable BBQ!

WHEN:  Sunday 19th April 2009.

MEET:  Todd Park, Blakehurst. (off Bunyala St, off Princes Hwy, by petrol station just before Tom   Ugly Bridge)

TIME:  9.00am for 9.30am departure.

The Social and Events Committee looks forward to your company on the day!

Regards

Unfortunately I can't make it next Sunday much as I would like to.
I have prior commitments to family in Sydney and a Model T Club run from Liverpool,
I may see you all heading the other way as I go north on Sunday morning, but I will definitely make the Kiama run in May and hope to meet a few of you then.

Dear Peeples,

Forgive my ignorance but where is Flagstaff Hill, NSW?

I Google Mapped it and it came up with only one location - South Australia.

If it is this location then it's going to be a long Sunday drive! Grin

Thanks

Thank you Delilah Darling.  Kiss

It's a good thing you said Cliff Rd because when I "Google Mapped" "Wollongong" it came up with "Wollongong Pest Control" in Utah! Huh

Talk about off the planet!

Well in the first Pic you will see Marylin washed and ready for the day, I could have skipped on the wash, because man did the heavens open up!!!!!!!!!!! It poured with rain it certainly didn't dampen the attendance or the stunning variety of cars from the old to the new, small to large it was there! Great turnout, great cars, great tour and great lunch what more could you ask for enjoy the pic's

Mat,

Great photos and looks to have been a great day.

How do you post the photos like you do can you please explain to me how it is done?

When you tell me how to do that I can then post the photos I took today at the Steamfest.

Cheers Tim.

Nice photos.
Talking of which, and regarding Tim's comment above, why are some photos wider than the window?
Can they be resized so I don't have to keep going to the bottom of your post to find the moving bar thing to scan left to right? Am I doing something wrong, or need to reconfigure my window or something?
Meanwhile, I could not make it to day, as I said earlier, due to other commitments, part of which was an obligation to report on a Model T Ford run today, but that turned to pooh too, due to the weather, I could have stayed down south and got soaked watching Mercedes' but anyway, them's the breaks.
Hope everyone that did make it had a good time, and will come down again for the Kiama run next month - see you there!

What an excellent day - with a great turnout in excess of 30 cars despite the showery weather. Well done to the organisers for clear instructions and a great route, as well as to all who braved the conditions.

As to the photos, you should not need to scroll from side to side if you have an 17" monitor or wider. And if you don't have one, I think it's time for an upgrade!  Grin

Yes, congratulations to Eros, Tony A  and Big Jim for mapping out such a great drive, shame about the weather, but it didn't stop us doing anything we wouldn't have normally done, I haven't had as much fun since the last event we had!

Fantastic drive down the coast as always, shame about the rain and the dirt patches in the national park. Nicolas and I left as soon as we got down to the lighthouse, he wanted to go to McDonalds, and stay out of the rain.

Rats! Sorry, couldn't make it yesterday. My Battleship had electrical problems.  Sad Turned out to be an RS rotor button. The other Battleship couldn't make it either as it was being used for naval manoeuvres by the other Admiral/Admiralette.

Glad you all had fun despite the weather.
