Joint club drive with Bentley Drivers Club 18/10/09

Join us for a leisurely drive to Wiseman’s Ferry for lunch in the wonderful bistro of the historic Wiseman’s Ferry Inn, as we host our friends at the Bentley Drivers Club

Meet in the car park of the Baulkham Hills Council Chambers, in Carrington Ave, off Showground rd, at 9.30am.

What a grand sight you can expect, the regal Bentley's gliding up the road as iconic Merc's drift along beside them, all the while enjoying the marvelous drive along Old Northern Road, with its sweeping bends and stunning views.

The bistro has an extensive menu and seating for many, both inside and Al Fresco style.

I was invited to The Bentley Drivers Club monthly meeting last night, which i attended to promote our joint club day this Sunday.

Subject to the weather, we should see a glorious display of cars, hope you can make it!

Thanks to the organisers of today's run to Wiseman's Ferry. Weather was beautiful. Food was great and the company, as always, very pleasant.

It was also interesting to be able to compare the 1957 S1 Bentley with the younger 1985 R Turbo. The cars' owners, Bob and Nancy and Jerome, couldn't have been more helpful in answering questions about their cars and Bentleys in general.
