Better than the smoke Vince was blowing out. That car should part of the government's emissions trading legislation.

Yes, it was an excellent day at Newcastle with an outstanding array of German cars. Well done to the Mercedes-Benz Classic Car Club of the Hunter Valley for their inaugural hosting of this event. Spectacular weather combined with spectacular cars made for an exceptional day. Looking forward to next year!

Hi Matt, somebody, anybody.......any chance of having this very thread and/or post, with all pictures, being shown on my website, topklasse.net.au ? There are some great pics etc., and topklasse, with its aims and enthusiast encouragements, would be proud to have these pics and text incorporated.   Regards   Styria

Better than the smoke Vince was blowing out. That car should part of the government's emissions trading legislation.

That's going to hurt Vince and his lady Delilah (never mind Debbie). Hasn't Delilah not so long ago have its engine rebuilt ? Maybe it needs 'setting down' and/or running in ? I take it that it  may need bedding in.  Regards   Styria

was blowing a lot of smoke on the open road, on the overrun ? Perhaps the valve stem seals need bedding in

I don't have a problem with the photos I took being used for non-commerical purposes. There are a few other I took as well which I might post when I get the chance.
