Hi all,

Just thought I would give a plug for a fellow who specialises in repairing Climate Control Units and other automotive electronic units such as ABS, ECU and instruments etc.

He is Antony Pazin of Specialised Automotive Electronics at North Parramatta and his web site is:

http://www.autoelectronics.com.au/

He repaired the CCU on our W126 300SE. He tries to turn around repairs on the same day. I found him very pleasant to deal with, fast turnaround (unit was couriered back next day) and provides a 12 months warranty on repairs.

Regards,
Kim

Excellent to hear Kim no doubt many of us with 20+ year old cars will find this far more cost efficient tha  purcahsing new parts through the classic center in Germany.

Cheers Mat. Wink

Thanks Mike and Mat.
The only other way I could get it fixed was for $300 thru a guy in Melbourne unless I went for a US option. However it was good to get the original part repaired and I thought the 12 months warranty was handy as well as opposed to three months.

I wish I had known earlier about this I would not have to part out $300+ for a new CCU for my 260E.

Cheers.
