Ladies and gents... "what MB would you buy with $60,000 in hand?".
I chose that number very carefully, yes its not enough for even a new C-class, and way too much for a "lovely but basic, semi-vintage sedan". Lets see who can get the "most" Star car for the cash!!!  Selections consisting of multiple cars with a cumulative market balue of $60k also count.
To get the ball rolling, make mine a CL55, 2001 model, under 100,000km please.

Slightly tongue in cheek - but I'll take 20 190e's.  That way I'll have enough spare parts to keep one going!

Agree with Starman - the W215 CL coupes are the most beautiful looking cars on the planet! The newer model has gone backwards in looks ... Eddy (NZ)

You guys must be buying at the wrong dealers. That's exactly how much my C Class Estate cost.

I you are interested in used cars for your $60k, unless your are sure of the service record, you must allow for bringing the car up to the standard that you would be happy with, and make allowance for this.  Applies especially to older cars.
