Nothing compared to the sort of stevieb wan**r who would judge someone like that just because he puts his car on a website that lists cars available for film and TV work.
Why not, if it can earn him (or her) a little on the side. Looks like a good car too, all original, no big shiny wheels or excess 'bling'.

Interesting when you have a look at the site as their was at least one other club members car I recognised also listed.  I agree Chris why not, would probably do the same if I had the car and the time.
Stevieb have you had any work yet or is it a new listing?

BTW went to CTS today and whilst some great cars on display there were less than half those listed on the site (a few that I wanted to see were not on show) so assume many are listed but still being driven/kept by owners.  I do think the 107 is overpriced as you can see a number of repairs and blemishes under the bright lights.  For that sort of money I was expecting perfection.
Dont worry Tim, cheque book still in the pocket, although the guy I was with from Melb was eyeing off the Aston Vanquish but as he works for me and I know what he earns, told him he was dreaming Wink

Interesting news Tips.
I have meant to, but not yet had the time to visit CTS, but yes. if that SL has ANY faults at all, it is therefore not worth the $50K+ that could only be justified by a mint example.
By the sound of your observations, it is a 'tart-up', not a 'minter'.
They do sell cars on consignment (how much of their advertised stock, I don't know) so of course at any given time one can not be sure of seeing all. I guess you have to call ahead and make arrangements.
I am particularly interested only because my 450SLC is getting close to 100% (a couple of tiny detail jobs to finish) when I would consider offers between $15k and $20k. They recently sold one similar, same colour but a year younger with an asking price of $40K!
Yup, I was slightly surprised too.
When mine is ready, I will enquire about their consignment sales and percentages, but meanwhile I may even see about listing it as available for film work. Even if that makes me a wan**r too.

Sorry mate, I've lost count now, but you listed your car, then called yourself a wan**r for doing so.
Ok, is that meant to be some sort of irony?
Anyway, good luck if you get any work, the car looks good and right, unlike a lot of the 'pimped' junk we see on here.

Not to worry Vince, you could probably sign up too, they may need a car for some gangster's moll in the next Underbelly,
and Delilah becomes a TV star.
And an earner!
And I promise I won't call you the 'W' word either.
But back on topic, would you consider either yours, or mine, anywhere near worth $55k?
No, as I said, that could happen, but it would have to be a very special car, low kms, mint condition, one owner etc.

For that money I would rather pick up either a pre-loved CL500 or most of a pre-loved CLS350. Call me crazy  Roll Eyes

I somehow don't think you'd get much of a CLS for $50,000  Wink

Thanks Michel

This pre-loved CLS lists for under $68k at a regular Dealer which suggests a similar car can be had wholesale for under $55k  Grin

Haven't values dropped?  Shocked

Right before our eyes Michel, that CLS now listed for $59.9k; drats it looks like I'm off to Melbourne this weekend LOL
