I'm only newly registered on this forum but I've been following this topic for some months and found it really fascinating. My list looks pretty obvious, but we're talking fantasy here - 600 Grosser,300SEL 6.3, 450SEL 6.9, 124 500E, just about anything AMG and, of course, as someone has already mentioned the CLK GTR. Let's not forget the 722 McLaren SLR. I admire most Mercedes models and we have a couple in the collection at home (sadly, none of the above) and think that cars like the Pagoda, 111 coupes, in fact most coupes, and 108 sedans represent something of a high point in refined good taste and quality but on the odd occasion that the guys at Mercedes Benz forget about being sensible they build the sort of cars I can picture in my fantasies. It probably marks me as an old hoon but I think the current crop of offerings coming from AMG is the perfect blend of car for an old muscle car fan like myself, combined with the sort of quality, comfort and dynamics I'd like now that I'm (slightly) more mature.
