The 2006 National Rally of the Mercedes-Benz Clubs of Australia is to be held over Easter 2006 and hosted by the ACT and NSW Mercedes-Benz Clubs. Planning is already well advanced with considerable interest from members of overseas Mercedes-Benz Clubs. Any enquiries can be directed to 2006rally@mbcnsw.org.au or regularly check this forum, the clubs' websites and magazines.

Cheesy

Greg

It's such as pleasure to read your input to the Forum, always so considered and generally all round common sense.  I am continually amazed at the knowledge you have gleaned about the Merc's over the years.  You are doing a grand job on behalf of us all in the Club, thanks.

Lynn,

Thanks for the kind words. I'm just so impressed with the great work Michael has done with the forum and new website. I am also looking forward to the 2006 rally and want to get some discussion about it happening here.

Yes! I agree Lynn.

Greg is doing a great job with the questions and it is pleasing to see how many are using the forum to get their technical information.

Hello everybody. M.B Spares & Service is proud to anounce that we are hosting the ACT Club website for the upcoming rally. It will be found at this link:

http://mbspares.mbz.org/rally.htm

It will in time be a portal for all the written information about the rally. As you can see it is a work in motion. I have will soon upload the Invitation to register and the application forms. Any feed back would be appreciated.

John,

Great to get updates on the rally. I was particularly interested to see information you provided about the tour into Victoria after the actual rally in Canberra. It sounds great! I hope the club in Victoria puts some more info on the forum about this. Hopefully there will be some information on the forum about the activities in Sydney and the Southern Highlands preceding the rally. Having attended several national rallies previously I can assure they are enjoyable. It is fantastic to see more club members from overseas taking an interest and attending as well.

Hello everyone, just in case you are wondering what happened to the webpage if has vanished into cyberspace for a few weeks. However if all goes to plan it will be back online with a few updates tommorrow morning.

As part of my association with OZVETS and before that the VETS list on www.mbz.org I have space on there server where I keep most of my images and also host the MBCACT site aswell as the ACT club rally site. For reasons beyond my control the server crashed three weeks ago and had to be replaced completly. www.mbz.org is run as a hobby site by Richard Sexton in Canada so he has only been working on it at night.

So sorry to any of you that have been trying to reach it and hopefuly it will all be fixed tommorrow.   Cheesy

Can do something different.  Ship all cars to Borneo, and have a rally...Borneo Experience.
Have a look at this:

Why not ??

Further discussion of the Borneo Experience/concepts is encouraged on the "Speakers Corner" board.
Please do not continue discussion of it on this thread.

This thread will be locked in the near future as the event is concluded and further discussion should be on a new thread.
